Treatment Planning

Following the examination and diagnosis it is necessary to make a plan to manage whatever conditions, if any, have been diagnosed. There are usually several alternatives to any situation and discussion is essential to find a plan which suits your dental needs and desires, as well as your budget.  It is our practice policy to openly discuss the cost of treatment.

Individual treatment planning can be a brief discussion of a few minutes when treatment needs are minimal or involve lengthy consultations including further diagnostic tests and written reports. Specialist dentists, such as orthodontists and oral surgeons, may also need to be involved in complex cases.
